NEW VIDEO SERIES TELLS THE STORIES OF EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING WORKERS

MILWAUKEE – The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) released three documentary-style videos that tell the stories of Becky, Paul, and Ray and how decisions made in Washington impact their lives and communities. The videos are part of AEM’s ongoing “Behind Every Product” series that highlights the 1.3 million men and women of the equipment manufacturing industry and how they contribute to the U.S. economy. The three videos were shot on location at AEM member companies Case IH North America (Racine), Kuhn North America, Inc. (Brodhead), and Wacker Neuson (Menomonee Falls).

“Becky, Paul, and Ray’s stories are the stories of the 1.3 million men and women that make our industry strong and America exceptional,” said Kip Eideberg, Vice President of Government & Industry Relations. “These videos provide a look into their daily lives and how decisions made in Washington impact manufacturing towns across America. Behind every piece of equipment is a story just like Becky, Paul, and Ray’s, and AEM is working hard to make sure their elected officials never forget that.”

Ray, Case IH, Racine, WI

“Here at Case IH, we are proud of the work we do to make America stronger as an ag equipment manufacturer,” said Scott Harris, Vice President-North America, Case IH. “Our industry and our employees play a significant role in both the domestic and global economy, and our voices must be heard by those who represent us. We believe it is critical for elected officials in Washington to know how their votes impact the millions of manufacturing employees across the United States. AEM’s Behind Every Product video series is one great way we can help do that.”

Paul, Kuhn, Brodhead, WI

“We’re proud to be part of the ag industry, making equipment that helps farmers feed the world,” said Greg Petras, President of Kuhn North America, Inc. “Even though our end products are mainly steel, our business is all about people. Paul’s story and perspective are common among our employees who take pride in their work and form the core of our business and our community. This is why it is important that lawmakers make policy that ensures the continued strength of our nation’s agriculture.”

“Infrastructure and the equipment used to support it is critical to economic growth in the United States and around the globe,” said Johannes Schulze Vohren, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing North America at Wacker Neuson. “Our company strives to be a reliable partner in the equipment manufacturing industry, committed to helping our customers and employees achieve success. We stand behind the equipment we produce and the people that help move America forward.”
