“AEM is pleased to participate in the HDD Academy as a supporting organization; it is a great event that brings horizontal drilling stakeholders together with owners and operators in the utility excavation industry to discuss the latest technologies and training to further their knowledge and capabilities,” said William “Bernie” Bernhard, AEM technical and safety services manager.
Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction and AEM member Benjamin Media Inc. host the event.
AEM’s underground utility awareness campaign promotes safety and damage prevention with best-practices resources available online (www.aem.org/uua). Several AEM equipment operating safety manuals specifically cover underground excavation (visit www.safetymaterials.org).
AEM is the North American-based international trade group representing off-road equipment manufacturers and suppliers, with more than 950 companies and more than 200 product lines in the agriculture and construction-related sectors worldwide. AEM has an ownership stake in and manages several world-class exhibitions, including CONEXPO-CON/AGG and ICUEE, The Demo Expo.
