AEM Applauds House Passage of Farm Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) Senior Vice President of Government and Industry Relations Kip Eideberg issued the following statement on the U.S. House of Representatives’ passage of the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 (Farm Bill):

“While we applaud the House of Representatives for passing a Farm Bill designed to provide relief and certainty for America's farmers, there are several issues critical to rural America that must be addressed when the bill reaches the Senate. It is time for the Senate to finish the job and pass a Farm Bill that builds on the House version: supporting the adoption of precision agriculture technologies, protecting farm income, and sustaining hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs tied to the agricultural economy.

“Congress has not passed a new Farm Bill since 2018 despite its critical role in keeping American agriculture productive and secure. Extensions and stop‑gap solutions only prolong uncertainty. Without Senate action, there will be real consequences for rural communities, supply chains, and U.S. competitiveness.”
