AEM'S FRED VIEIRA NAMED EXHIBITIONS INDUSTRY ‘20 UNDER 30’ HONOREE

Fred Vieira of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has been selected as a ’20 Under 30’ honoree by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).

The IAEE ’20 Under 30’ program each year recognizes 20 young professionals and provides education for their professional growth in the exhibitions and events industry.

Honorees will be recognized at IAEE’s Expo! Expo! annual meeting and exhibition Dec. 11-13 in New Orleans.

“It’s an absolute honor to be named as one of IAEE’s 20 Under 30 young professionals,” said Vieira. “I’m humbled to be included in this select group, one which includes a number of my AEM colleagues who have been recognized by IAEE in the past, and I’m looking forward to representing the association at the 2018 Expo! Expo!”

Vieira currently works as AEM’s Latin America event manager and is responsible for the day-to-day business and successful growth of the CONEXPO Latin America trade show, which returns to the region Oct. 2-5, 2019 in Santiago, Chile. An employee of AEM since 2016, Vieira previously worked as part of the association’s global business development and project management departments.

Originally from Brazil, Vieira holds degrees in international business and economics and earned his MBA from North Greenville University. In addition, he played professional tennis and traveled throughout South America before moving to the United States and commencing with his collegiate studies.
