The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has presented Statistics Outstanding Merit Awards to 36 companies for their exemplary performance in AEM data reporting programs.

The awards recognize member companies for timely and accurate data submission, meeting attendance and timely response to ballots, audits and surveys during the 2016 calendar year.

“These winners enhance our ability to provide meaningful equipment-specific market trend and benchmarking data to assist members’ business planning,” said Rex Sprietsma, AEM director, statistics and market information.

AEM statistics activities encompass more than 200 unique product programs covering information from county-level retail sales data in North America to shipments data on a global basis.

Winning companies have received a cumulative performance rating of 90 percent or better based on corporate-wide performance.

AEM presented the awards during its recent spring statistics conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The annual conference featured a general session, in addition to the meetings of several AEM statistical committees, where members review product programs’ reporting requirements, and vote on member proposals, all of which help ensure the association statistics provide members with optimum value.
