AEM NAMED A TOP WORKPLACE FOR THE 4TH TIME

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), the leading trade organization for off-road equipment manufacturers and suppliers, has been named a Top Workplace in Southeast Wisconsin for the fourth time in 2019 by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“We are extremely proud to continue to be ranked on this list and to know that our employees are our biggest advocates,” said AEM President Dennis Slater. “This honor is especially significant this year as we celebrate our 125th anniversary of building momentum for our industry and providing quality service and support from a dedicated, top-notch staff.”

AEM also garnered additional recognition, receiving the program’s Benefits award, which is based on employee feedback to the question: “My benefits package is good compared to others in the industry.”

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel publishes its annual Top Workplaces list to recognize businesses and organizations that are deemed, by their own staff, as phenomenal places to work at. Employees completed surveys meant to evaluate their experience and opinions on their work places which were then given to an independent research firm to analyze the results.

“This award is testament to the culture we have established at AEM,” said Vice President of Human Resources and Operations Judy Gaus. “We work diligently to make this an engaging and positive workplace for our innovative and diverse employees. This environment drives the quality work we do to build momentum for the off-road equipment manufacturing industry.”

AEM has also won recent awards for its industry-leading trade shows and advocacy campaigns:

  • The last CONEXPO-CON/AGG won the #1 spot on the Gold 100 list of the largest exhibitions
  • The last ICUEE-The Demo Expo placed 3rd on that same list
  • The last CONEXPO-CON/AGG also won Gold 100 Grand Awards for marketing genius and use of data analytics
  • The AEM I Make America campaign was recognized with a Reed Award for the best web video for a public affairs campaign in 2018

Fun fact: AEM’s headquarters office is located in the former Allis-Chalmers agricultural equipment manufacturing complex in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The office has won architectural acclaim for integrating historic building elements into a modern airy space.
