AEM Issues Statement on 2022 Midterm Election Results

Nov. 9, 2022 (Washington, DC) – Kip Eideberg, senior vice president of government and industry relations for the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, issued the following statement regarding the initial outcome of the 2022 midterm elections.

“This was an important election for our country and for equipment manufacturers who have consistently called on lawmakers to prioritize pro-manufacturing policies. We congratulate all the candidates who won their hard-fought races and look forward to working with them to help solve our country’s toughest challenges. We renew our call for Democrats and Republicans to work together to advance legislation that will strengthen domestic manufacturing, bolster supply chains, invest in the American worker, and ensure our continued global competitiveness. Whichever political party holds the majority in the House, Senate, and in state capitals around the country, they would do well to reach across the aisle and find common ground that can move our industry and our country forward.”
