AEM CONGRATULATES DUFFY ON TRANSPORTATION NOMINATION
Washington, D.C. – Association of Equipment Manufacturers Senior Vice President Kip Eideberg issued the following statement after President-elect Donald J. Trump nominated former Rep. Sean Duffy to serve as the 20th Secretary of Transportation.
"The Association of Equipment Manufacturers congratulates Sean Duffy on his nomination to serve as the next Secretary of Transportation. The Department of Transportation plays a vital role in ensuring the development and maintenance of the infrastructure that supports our industry and powers the U.S. economy.
As champions of infrastructure investment, AEM has consistently advocated for policies that modernize our nation’s transportation systems, bolster supply chains, and ensure the safe and timely movement of goods and people. However, we also recognize the challenges that come with addressing these priorities in an increasingly complex regulatory and economic environment.
