AEM Announces 2024 Advocacy Award Honorees

Record number of member companies joined AEM in advocating for the industry’s policy agenda

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has announced the 2024 recipients of the annual AEM Advocacy Awards, recognizing member companies for their outstanding contributions to the association’s advocacy efforts.  

AEM honored 38 member companies with Gold Awards for their many contributions to the industry’s advocacy efforts in Canada and the United States. This year saw a record number of member companies joining with AEM to advocate for the equipment manufacturing industry’s policy agenda, thanks in large part to the AEM Manufacturing Express’ 22-state tour across the country. 

Power Curbers Companies, Vacuworx, and Astec Industries were awarded the prestigious Pillar of the Industry Award for being exceptional champions for the equipment manufacturing industry. Another 90 member companies earned Silver and Bronze Awards, including several first-time recipients. 

“The equipment manufacturing industry achieved tremendous results in 2024, and this was due in no small part to continued close partnership with our member companies,” said AEM President Megan Tanel. “We are proud to honor these companies for their commitment to moving our industry forward and joining us in advocating for pro-manufacturing policies that our critical to our industry." 

The AEM Advocacy Award recognizes those member companies that help advance the industry’s policy priorities through various advocacy efforts, including active participation in AEM’s advocacy efforts in Canada and the United States, public affairs campaigns, and the grassroots advocacy program, I Make America.  

“We are honored to recognize an outstanding group of member companies for their extraordinary advocacy efforts on behalf of the association and the equipment manufacturing industry in Canada and the United States,” said Kip Eideberg, AEM Senior Vice President of Government and Industry Relations. “Thanks to their partnership, AEM has successfully shaped legislative and executive decisions at the highest levels of government and earned the trust of global leaders and institutions.” 

Their partnership allows us to drive policies that create jobs, strengthen the economy, and ensure the success of our industry.”
